About me

Porträt einer jungen Frau mit blondem, lockigem Haar, blauen Augen und einem schwarzen Rollkragenpullover, vor hellem Hintergrund.

I am a psychologist (M.Sc.) with a focus on emotion regulation, stress processing, and performance-related self-regulation.

In my work, I combine evidence-based psychological models with practical experience from high-performance environments — both in professional settings and in endurance sports.

In addition to my academic background, I have several years of experience in demanding professional contexts where decision-making under pressure, responsibility, and complex dynamics are part of everyday life. Personal and athletic setbacks have also shaped my perspective. My own background in triathlon and cycling combines professional knowledge with lived experience.

After an accident, I had to redefine my own performance goals. It made me realize how quickly performance can become tied to one’s identity — and how essential a healthy relationship with limits and recovery truly is. This perspective consciously informs my coaching today.

My approach

I work in a structured, analytical, and at the same time empathetic way.

In coaching and sport mental training, I focus in particular on the following aspects:

  • gaining clarity about patterns of thinking and behaviour

  • building stability during demanding phases

  • strengthening decision-making under pressure

  • developing sustainable performance without overload

My work is based on on scientifically established psychological models. I do not work with esoteric concepts or generic motivational methods, but with approaches that are evidence-based, transparent, and psychologically sound.

My background in psychology allows me to assess patterns of stress and strain in a professionally grounded way and to clearly distinguish between coaching, mental training, and psychological conditions that require clinical treatment.

I work with people

  • who are under performance or decision-making pressure

  • who seek stability and structure during phases of transition

  • who want to deliberately strengthen their mental resilience

  • who want to remain consistently effective in sport or at work

  • during and after injury-related breaks

  • who are looking for new direction

I work primarily online. In-person sessions, particularly for sport mental training, are available by arrangement in the Stuttgart area.

I offer counseling, coaching, and mental training sessions in English. Having lived and worked both in the USA and England before, I am a certified C1-level english speaker.

Disclaimer: Coaching and sport mental training do not constitute psychotherapy and are intended for individuals without an acute mental health condition.
